Revised Master's programme
In september 2009 we will start with a revised Master's programme Human Movement Sciences.
The most important revision concerns the change in sub-programmes: where the old programme knew specializations in the directions "Sport", "Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy", "Movement Coordination", "Ergonomics", "Movement Systems" and "Psychomotor Therapy", the new programme will be focusing more on sports, exercise and health. The focus on Sports, Exercise and Health implies that the programme now comprises two tracks: "Sports" and "Health" and within the latter a special programme in Psycho Motor Therapy. The new Master's programme is more directed towards the preparation for work in those respective fields and less towards training in research. If the department's application for a research master in Human Movement Sciences is approved, we will also start a research master in september 2009. This research master (which has a two-year programme) is especially focused on the training in clinical and fundamental research within the field of Human Movement Sciences.
