Enrolment (for foreign students)

 

Admission requirements
To gain admission to the Master's programme Human Movement Sciences you must have the equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Human Movement Sciences or a related discipline, which includes basic knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Psychology as well as sufficient research skills and knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and Biomechanics required for the desired specialization in the Master's programme Human Movement Sciences. You must also have a good command of English as a working language (TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.5).

Application and enrolment
Residents from countries other than the Netherlands (both within and outside the European Economic Area) have to apply for admission by April 1, 2012. Students who want to be admitted into the Master's programme can apply by filling in the appropriate forms and sending them in together with the required documents. Online application for international students

The tuition fee for the 2012-2013 academic year is approximately 1,770 euros for students from European Economic Area (EEA) countries. For non-EEA students the tuition fee has been set at 12,000 euros. These fees are determined annually. See the VU-website for more information. Click here for information on fellowships.

Your application should include the following:

  • A detailed curriculum vitae in English
  • An original transcript of courses taken and results obtained, including short contents of the courses, list of literature, ects grades and credits (in English), signed by the administration of the home university.
  • A certified Bachelors degree or equivalent to a Bachelors degree (a certified translation in English)
  • A certified High School diploma including a list of courses taken and results obtained for the final exam
  • If English is not your first language, or if English was not the language in which you achieved your degree: A certificate (TOEFL score or IELTS) to verify your proficiency in English
  • A photocopy of the pages of your passport including full name, date and place of birth and date of issue and expiry of the passport
  • A bachelor thesis or research report
  • Your track of choice (Health or Sports)
