Human Movement Sciences: Research Master's
Enrolment (for Dutch students)
General requirements
The general requirements for admission to the Research Master's programme are:
- A relevant WO bachelor's degree, including a bachelor research project.
- Highly motivated.
- Strong interest in and aptitude for research, demonstrated during your Bachelor’s.
- Proficiency in English
Application
For the year 2012-2013, application does not take place through the central application site, but directly with the department. To apply, simply send a mail to admission2master.fbw@vu.nl
Following your application, the Faculty will contact you to check your particulars and to schedule an interview with the admission board. Follwing this interview the admission board of the Faculty of Human Movement Sciences will decide whether you can be admitted to the research master's programme.
Note that you have to apply before June 1, 2012!
When you are admitted to the programme, the admission board will determine the content of your premaster's programme. The board will then sign the admission form (“verzoek tot toelating tot de (pre)master”) that is required for your official enrolment into the programme.
Students with a HBO-bachelor's degree are not directly admissible to the research master's programme. Entering the Research Master's programme will require a special premaster's programme. Upon completing the premaster programme, application for the Research Master's will be possible. Completion of the premaster programme will always result in acceptance for the one-year Master's programme Human Movement Sciences.
